About the Child Protection Unit

The Child Protection Unit is administratively affiliated with the Student's Well-Being Sector at Emirates Schools Establishment. The unit aims to implement the mechanisms and measures of child protection in educational institutions from birth to age 18, as stipulated in Federal Law No. (3) for 2016 and its executive regulations, including implementing this policy in public schools.

 

Also, the unit aims to maintain children's rights, particularly their right to education and health as per the legislation and the terms and conditions of the law, and to protect them from all forms of abuse, family neglect, discrimination, and exploitation and protecting them from violence that will negatively affect their psychological health, which he may be exposed to it in the environment surrounding him (home or school), whether this occurs from a person who has guardianship, authority, or responsibility over the child, or who is related to him in any way, and work to provide a safe school environment for the child that makes him feel protected from everything that threatens his survival or health, physical or psychological.
